Raining Rainbows

Drawing the umbrella;
Use colored construction paper about 5 by 8 inches (half sheet). Lighter colors work best. Draw umbrella in pencil or black crayon.
Decorate with patterns using crayons. Cut out.

Drawing the person;
Choose another colored construction paper for raincoat and boots. Lighter colors work best.
-Draw an upside down "U" for coat with line underneath.
-Draw 2 small "L"s underneath for bottom and side of boots.

RainClouds:
Cut out cloud.
-----
Create scene; glue down cloud towards top, person towards bottom & umbrella overlapping person's shoulders.
Using red, orange, yellow, green, blue & purple crayons color a rainbow going into top of rain cloud.
Using the rainbow colors, make dashed lines or dots coming out of raincloud.
Use concentric ovals at bottom of page to look like puddles at person's feet.
Add more rain clouds and blue rain if desired.
